What is a branding agency?

A branding agency builds the whole identity of a business, not just its logo. Most founders don't come to us asking for branding. They come with something specific, a product that needs packaging and a website, a clinic that needs a rebrand, or a brand that has started to feel tired. Branding is the thing underneath all of it, your strategy, your name, your visual identity, your packaging, your website and your spaces, and the way it all holds together. Done well, a customer gets the same brand whether they are on your website, holding your product, or walking into your clinic.

What does Saltco do?

We are one studio across brand, digital and space, and we design all three as one connected problem rather than three separate jobs. That covers brand strategy and identity, packaging, websites, ecommerce, SEO and AI search, retail and pop ups, and full clinic or hospitality interiors. Most clients start in one area and grow into the others. Because the same senior team designs all of it, nothing gets handed to a fourth supplier and reinterpreted, so the brand a customer meets online is the same one they meet on the shelf and in the room.

What kind of work has Saltco done?

Our work tends to end up in the places our clients want to be. It is stocked in Harrods, Selfridges, Liberty and Space NK, and has been featured everywhere from Vogue to WWD. We built the brand behind a Marie Claire Best New Brand Launch, took Self Glow by James Read from a pre investment brand world through to the Met Gala and a nationwide Space NK tour, and built Hanikon Rosé into a brand poured at Harrods, across the Swiss ski scene and in St Barths. We also rebuilt Thames for Dr Bravi across the brand, the website and the clinic itself. Most of these relationships are measured in years, not projects.

How do you choose a branding agency?

Look for senior people who stay close to the work, real range across brand, digital and space, and proof they can hold a standard over time rather than a portfolio of one off logos. At Saltco, brands work directly with the two founders, who come from opposite ends of the same problem. One started in brand and digital, the other is an ARB-registered architect and interior designer. We are selective about who we work with, because the best work comes from knowing a brand properly over time, not from a rushed one off project.

How much does a branding agency cost?

Accepted Answer

It depends on scope, but there are clear ways in. A Discovery Sprint, from £2,500, is for founders who know something needs to change but not what to fix first. We audit your brand, website, search, packaging or a space you are planning, then hand you a plan. A Defined Project, from £5,000, is a specific piece of work with a clear brief, a rebrand, packaging, a new Shopify or Framer site, an SEO and AI search push, or a clinic, retail or pop-up interior. An Ongoing Partnership is a monthly retainer for brands who want senior support as they grow, with larger projects scoped separately. We agree scope and cost upfront, and you deal with the founders throughout.

How involved will we need to be?

Accepted Answer

You will be closely involved at the moments that matter, setting direction, giving feedback and signing off the key decisions. Day to day, we handle the detail and keep things moving, so you can stay focused on running the business. We are selective about who we work with and take on a handful of partners at a time, so you always have direct access to the two founders rather than account handlers.

Do you work with clients internationally?

Yes. We are based in London and work with brands and clinics across the UK and internationally. Recent work spans New York, LA, San Francisco, Monaco, St Tropez, St Barths, Switzerland, Germany and Canada. Most brand, digital and design work happens remotely, with in person time scheduled where it genuinely adds value, such as key workshops, spatial walkthroughs or launch moments.
