/ Overview:
A London brand activations agency, bringing brands into physical space without losing what makes them theirs.
At Saltco, brands work directly with the two founders, who come from opposite ends of the same problem. One started in brand and digital, the other is an ARB-registered architect and interior designer. That mix is what makes our spatial work different. Rufus brings the technical detail of an architect to something most studios treat as decoration, so a pop-up, a takeover or a retail rollout is built with the same rigour as a permanent space.
Founders come to us when the brand needs to show up somewhere real. A retail launch, a window takeover, a pop-up, a spa concept, or a brand collaboration that has to land in one of the world's best rooms.
We make the brand real in the room, so it feels like itself everywhere it lands.
What we offer
01 Brand-led retail and point of sale
02 Pop-ups, window takeovers and activations
03 Concept, materiality and space planning
04 Styling, signage and wayfinding
05 Branded merchandise and physical assets
06 Spatial visualisation and pitch support
How we work
An activation only works if it reads as the brand, not as an event with a logo on it. So before we design anything, we go back to the brand itself, the language, the materiality, the tone, and carry that through every surface in the room.
Because the same senior team works across brand and space, the identity is carried into the room exactly as it should be, whether we built it or you arrived with it. And because one of the founders is an architect, the detail holds up in the real world, from how a plinth is built to how signage sits in a listed retail floor.
Pitching into the world's best rooms
Before a retail buyer or spa director hands over their space, they need to see exactly what they are agreeing to. That is where our visualisation and pitch support comes in, helping brands win the sign-off from partners like Harrods, Selfridges, Space NK and luxury hotels.
We support the whole pitch:
3D renders of the activation, set inside the partner's actual venue, already branded
Retailer and venue decks, with the research and copy to make the case
Options at different budgets and scales, so there is a route in whatever the venue allows
It is why brands trust us to represent them in the rooms that matter most.
Our best work is with brands we have stayed with for years
We have worked with Self Glow by James Read for three years, designing the retail activations, POS, L-boards and in-store signage across every major stockist, including a full window takeover of Space NK's Regent Street flagship. We provide ongoing creative direction for every campaign, from concept and shoot through to the imagery used in Selfridges windows. The Sunblush Selfridges exclusive sold out four times in a single month, and the partnership is three years in and still going. Its professional arm, Self Glow Pro, then carried the same identity from three branded treatment kits and a full spa concept all the way to the official spray tan at the Met Gala, the Emmys, and a nationwide Glow-Out Facial Tour that sold out across Space NK.
Hanikon Rosé started as a set of brand guidelines and a bottle, and became a Harrods rooftop takeover, après-ski sundowners at Richard Branson's The Lodge, a surf shack in St Barths, and a limited-edition partnership with Chrome Hearts. Every element, from ice buckets and deck chairs to branded skis and airport billboards, was designed and produced by Saltco, from concept to delivery. And for BeRead, the brand reached from exhibition stands at the world's leading publishing conferences to custom reading benches at Kings Cross and OOH across the London Underground.
You work directly with the two founders, who come from opposite ends of the same problem.
